Crunchy Chicken Ramen Salad with Almonds Cooking Recipe 🍲

That not only will you be full, but your body will thank you. Stay a few seconds, and you will not regret it, because we will give you the perfect combination of vegetables and a secret dressing, which will undoubtedly make you repeat it many times a week.

GFIT Activewear wanted to put in context a salad that was a powerful balance between proteins, fibers and vegetables, accompanied by ramen, without a doubt your diet will be balanced, and you will not be hungry all afternoon.

Crispy Chicken Ramen Salad with Almonds

Ingredients that you will need:

Prepare the dressing:

  • 2 tablespoons light olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 4 tablespoons low sodium tamari
  • 2 tablespoons ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar

Prepare the salad:

  • ¼ cup (43g) unsalted almonds
  • 1 85g package of ramen noodles
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 8 ounces broccoli, sliced
  • 1 small red pepper
  • 2/3 cups (227g) breast, cooked and chopped
  • 2 cups (43g) finely grated green cabbage

Now hands on work 

Place the mixture between the tomato sauce, tamari, rice vinegar, ginger and garlic in a large bowl. While you are slowly mixing, add the oil, break the raw and mixed noodles as well, they will take a maximum of 15 minutes to soften.

While you are steaming the broccoli for 15 minutes, you can use a steamer in a medium saucepan, and you are going to place a cup of water, let it boil together with the broccoli, in a maximum of 4 minutes the broccoli will become shiny and crisp. You immediately fill half a bowl with cold water and invert the broccoli there with a slotted spoon to stop cooking. (drain and pat dry with paper towels)

To finish, add the broccoli to the container where you will have the rest of the ingredients, that is, the chicken, the peppers, the onion and the almonds. Mix finely and finish, you can serve and enjoy a balanced but rich lunch.

Can I make the salad ahead of time?

You will enjoy its maximum point of flavor immediately, prepare it, although you can put it in the refrigerator to consume later, but it will lose a little flavor.

If you want a more intense flavor, change the olive oil for sesame oil.
